National Rail Museum (New Delhi) - photos (June 18)

NOTE: I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THIS POSTED 1/2 WAY DOWN THE PAGE! SORRY!

People who know me well are aware of my love for trains. When I was a kid, I used to have this great N-Gauge train set as a GREAT hobby ... Loved it!

So throughout my life I've always appreciated all sorts of trains from toys to the real thing in museums plus I'm always after a good train photo. Hence, I thought I would share these few pictures with you - Plus, my uncle Mike is totally into trains as well (hey Mike, looking for another job yet? New Delhi needs conductors!) These were taken this past Sunday afternoon with my 35mm Nikon 6006 - come with me and enjoy a walk in the train park and museum. (Hindi is on the top)

I would LOVE to have a big toy like this! (pic taken by mini HP digital):

Inside the museum one exhibit is a tribute to "the man" - Mahatma Ghandi!

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingI wish this sign was all over Delhi! Rs.100 is equal to just less than $2.00 U.S. (may not seem like a lot but 100 rupees would feed a family of 5 in India!) -

Uncle Mike, I got a surprise for you!

All in all I had a fabulous afternoon in a beautiful train park:
